As an experienced Banker, turned Interior designer, I decided to follow my passion and, after completing my Diploma in Interior Design and Decoration, founded White Thistle in 2023.
Combining my love for interior design, attention to detail, and a passion for creating beautiful spaces, I breathe new life into older properties while seamlessly blending modern style with classic flair.
With a background in finance and investment, I developed a keen eye for precision, organization, and effective communication—traits that I have transferred to my design work. I bring a practical and analytical approach to every project, ensuring that design solutions not only captivate visually but also optimize functionality and return on investment.
What is modern heritage design?
Modern heritage design is an aesthetic that combines elements of contemporary or modern style with the preservation and integration of historical or traditional features found in older properties. It seeks to strike a balance between the past and the present, honoring the architectural character and historical context of a space while infusing it with modern design elements.
My designs seeks to create spaces that pay homage to the past while embracing the conveniences and aesthetics of the present. It celebrates the unique character and history of older properties while infusing them with a fresh and timeless appeal.
