I’ve always been drawn to the character and craftsmanship of older homes, but my path into design wasn’t a straight line. Before founding White Thistle Designs, I spent many years in banking — a career that strengthened my organisation, communication and people‑focused skills. Yet I found myself continually returning to the joy of creating calm, functional and beautifully considered spaces. Eventually, I followed that pull, formalised my design training and built a practice that blends heritage sensitivity with practical, down‑to‑earth guidance. Today, I help homeowners make confident, cohesive decisions that honour both their lifestyle and the unique story of their home.

I founded White Thistle Design in 2022 after transitioning from a career in banking to follow my passion for creating beautiful, meaningful spaces. After completing my Diploma in Interior Design and Decoration, I turned my long-held love of design into a business focused on breathing new life into older homes and blending modern style with timeless character.
With a professional background in finance and investment, I bring a unique balance of creativity and analytical thinking to every project.
